Bad seam on polished granite: What to do? Description

Our Granite (http://tanbrown.org) kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s were installed yesterday in three pieces. The two seams have been left with dark stains. We were told by the installers that it was water and (http://maplered.com) would dry in no time leaving no stain. We're concerned this isn't the case.

Second, the joint between the backsplash and (http://maplered.com) the stainless steel on the wall was joined with a white colored "glue". I should also mention the wall isn't perfectly straight some gapping has occured between the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) backsplash and (http://maplered.com) stainless steel. The white stand (http://maplered.com) s out strongly and (http://maplered.com) simply looks bad. Are there other color options for the "glue"? I would think a clear joint would look best. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
